Join us for a fun night of space exploration!

Artemis is a spaceship simulators that allows players to serve as the different bridge officers. We'll battle space piranha and evil empires in the neutral zone! Pizza and soda provided. Be sure to bring your laptop! (We have a couple at the makerspace if you do not have one - but we only have a few!)

Artemis is a spaceship simulator is where each laptop is the console of an officer on a Starship: helm, engineering, science, comms, tactical.. etc. Each officer has a certain role/duty on the starship. For example: The helmsman steers the ship, the science officer scans enemy ships and other space objects, the engineer controls the power to the ships different systems. etc.

It is a super fun team game! It takes good communication, teamwork, and guts to defend the galaxy! Bring your friends!

The game can be bought on steam for $6.99 here (recommended): http://store.steampowered.com/app/247350/

Here is some youtube links for a tutorial. We will go over the game briefly before we start, but it helps if you are a bit familiar with the game. Watching these videos will help with the bridge stations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RncYlUYcSo4&list=PLxkMPXRGgi8orSsfqCgTzw1xQwTYjDT-g

And this tutorial will help with the fighter pilot controls (without joystick) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K49Tr-emxoQ

Hope to see you there!!!!
